I have turned 18 years old. Which office do I go to, to receive my $2,000.00?
If your child was “Registered” with Atikameksheng Anishnawbek prior to December 2003, then you will come to the administration office. You will be required to complete a form and provide two pieces of identification. It is better if you come into the administration office at least one week prior to your 18th birthday, it allows time for processing the cheque.
If your child was “Registered” with Atikameksheng Anishnawbek after the December 2003 date, then you will have to ensure that you registered your child(ren) with the Atikameksheng Trust. It is better that you contact the Atikameksheng Trust office well in advance of your 18th birthday, as the Board of Trustees meet monthly, it allows time for processing.
