Location: Hunting Camp will be located at the Sacred Grounds
No Drugs and no Alcohol Event
We are asking anyone who is interested in attending to sign up with Cheryl Thurston at cthurston@wlfn.com or 705-692-3651 and leave your name with the Receptionist. We will need to know the following;
– Will you and your family be camping at the Sacred Grounds? How many in your family? Or will you just be attending daily?
– Will you be participating in the hunt? Do you have experience hunting? Do you have your PAL, FAC?
We are looking for Community Members who would like to help share your knowledge. If you are interested, please call John Vallely or Mike Naponse to advise and note what you would like to share;
Individuals who can showcase their skills with skinning a beaver or muskrat, if you are interested, please call John Vallely or Mike Naponse.
Storytellers – Atikameksheng Anishnawbek History; where did we used to hunt, how did we do things in the past, etc.
Crafters – do you have a specific craft for hunting camp that you can share and teach others?
We will help you with the above and provide an honourarium for your knowledge and time!
